Scottish Art In London Charity Opening Night
The Air Gallery, Dover Street, London, 2006.

The prestigious Air gallery in Dover street will be home to a major exhibition and sale of art by contemporary Scottish artists from 16-21 October.

Many important Scottish artists work will be included, incuding; Peter Howson, John Bellany, Frank McFadden, Gerard Burns, JoLoMo, Kirsty Wither. In all, almost 100 artists will take part.

The show is being made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Scottish Executive and the law firm Dickson Minto. In addition many donors are supporting the opening party and private view.

The Prince of Wales has donated an artist's proof of one of his watercolours entitled “Ben Avon, Near Braemar, January” (1/20). The work, signed by the Prince, is presented in an embossed leather case and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It will be sold by silent auction commencing at the show opening party on 17th October and closing at the private view on 19th October. It has a reserve of £3000.
